CGG seeks to ensure that all people in Sierra Leone will live in a participatory and people–cantered democracy, where citizens are empowered to participate and have access to resources and government is accountable, responsive and transparent; and Sierra Leone plays pivotal role in promoting peace, stability and democracy in the Mano River Union.

CGG programmes have evolved over the years to adapt to the changing needs of Sierra Leone’ socio-political transitions. The organization works with key partners including international NGOs and government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to effectively deliver its programs. CGG has affiliations with several associations and research communities, and such strong network and a long history of successful campaigns have given CGG an excellent reputation as one of Sierra Leone’s leading Local Non-Governmental Organizations (LNGOs).

CGG exists to increase citizen’s participation in governance through advocacy, capacity building and civic education in order to build a more informed civil populace and a democratic state.
