Our Work
Freedom, Democracy and Gender Equality!
Our work is focused on expanding democratic space, promoting good governance and gender equality, enhancing justice, security and safeguarding human rights in Sierra Leone and beyond.
Democracy Building and Peaceful Co-existence
Promoting active citizens engagement, free and transparent elections, voter education, and electoral reform to strengthen democratic institutions. Also, advocating for inclusive dialogue and conflict resolution mechanisms to promote peace and national cohesion.
Gender Equality, Women’s Security and Political Empowerment
Advancing gender equality, promoting women’s participation in politics and decision-making, and advocating for the rights of marginalized groups. Provide training and mentorship programs to build the political and leadership skills of women and girls, empowering them to actively participate in decision-making processes.
Democracy and Young Women’s Leadership
Building the capacity of young women to become active agents of change, fostering leadership skills, and promoting young women’s participation in governance. Create platforms for young women to voice their perspectives, advocate for their rights, and contribute to shaping policies that affect their lives.
Voice, Rights and Accountability
Promoting respect for human rights, access to justice, and legal reforms to ensure equality and protection for all citizens. Also, creating the space for marginalized voices to be heard
As the organisation’s strategies evolve, efforts have been made to increase its research capacity as an evidence based tool for advocacy and governance reform interventions.
